| How to Book A Charter |
Once your choice of vessel has been
made, If the boat is available, we will place an option
for your dates. In this way, we keep your yacht on hold
until you are ready to make the deposit payment.
Once you are ready to proceed with the booking, we will have you sign the Yacht Charter Agreement and pay your charter deposit - thereby formalizing the arrangement. We will then expect you to return your signed copy of the contract together with a remittance slip from your bank to say that the deposit funds are on the way. Once this deposit, representing 50% of the total charter fee has been received, the booking is considered confirmed and your chosen dates are reserved
for you.
Between the exchange of contracts and the actual commencement of your charter, we will be working at gaining as much information as possible in order to cater to your needs . You will be required to fill in a 'Charterers' Information Sheet' which will tell the crew everything they need to know about your food and drinks preferences, any special occasions you will be celebrating, your arrival and departure details and how you wish to spend your days. It also asks for your full names
and passport details, which will be needed for the formalities.
At this time, you will also make your arrangements with us for any transfers, land tours and accommodation that may be required.
As for the balance of the charter fee, this amount can be paid either ahead of time or can be paid on boarding in cash or traveler's checks.
As one final note, we strongly recommend that you take our trip cancellation insurance. If for any reason you have to cancel your charter vacation, the 50% deposit is forfeited unless a replacement charter can be found for this period.
